Harvey Smith cares about Roswell - the city, the communities, the neighborhoods, the businesses, and most importantly, the people. He believes in preserving the history and small town feel of Roswell while moving the city forward in a positive direction. He would be honored to have the opportunity to pay back to this community that has given so much to him by serving as Roswell City Council Member for Post 4. Harvey has many ideas on how to improve the quality of life in Roswell. Some of them include:

Promoting quality businesses and economic growth through public-private partnerships such as Roswell [Inc] (formally Roswell Business Alliance) which has brought in over 2000 jobs to Roswell and offering incentives for businesses to operate out of Roswell.

Pursuing solutions to traffic concerns by exploring innovative ideas and by working closely with the Roswell DOT and our citizens to discover ways to best alleviate congestion.

Protecting home values. One way to accomplish this is by using the guidelines currently being set forth in the Unified Development Code. When the final draft is approved following input and direction from the citizens, it will be a valuable tool in providing a long-range plan for protecting our neighborhoods and homes.
