Seeing shows in Las Vegas is one of our favorite things to do. We've always been impressed with the variety to choose from as well as the high energy performances Las Vegas traditionally has to offer. When we received an invitation from BAZ - Star Crossed Love to see their performance at The Palazzo, we anticipated this could be among one of our possible favorites... and we were right.

The theater is located in The Palazzo and while it is an intimate theater, there are no bad seats in the house. In fact, those sitting in the front 1/3 of the theater are actually right in the middle of the show. So when you reserve your tickets, make sure to see about getting tickets as close to the stage as possible. These seats put you right into the performance and several times the cast members were singing and dancing only a few inches from our seats.

The vocals of the cast members are nothing less than amazing. There are 6 main actors and several supporting actors, all of which can fill the room with their vocals. Any of these performers could have the lead in any Broadway show in our opinion. If you enjoy first-class singing, then this show is for you. But, the performance does not stop there.

The choreography and dancing fill the stage with every set change while the audience follows three love stories for the 80 minute performance. The story lines are “Romeo + Juliet”, “The Great Gatsby” and “Moulin Rouge." The performance is so clever also because it creatively intertwine current songs into these three classic love-tragedy stories. So you find yourself singing along to almost every song they perform.

BAZ - Star Crossed Love has the perfect combination of high energy singing and award winning performances from the entire ensemble. The producers have done an amazing job of assembling a top notch cast who deliver an unforgettable Las Vegas style production that over delivers and leaves you eager for more. We can see why several of the people seated around us had seen this performance many time before.
