Best Places in Las Vegas to Eat with the Children

Studio B Buffet - M Resort
Voted Best Buffet in Las Vegas by locals. Besides that, all you need to know is there's plenty of space to "run around" (not literally). Seating is plentiful here and the setup is wide enough to be able to view the entire buffet of offerings. Some buffets are tough to get around, but Studio B is basically one large room so it's comfortable for mom and dad to let the kids roam around and get their own food (at your discretion of course). Their speciality here is the dessert area (don't tell the kids that initially) and for adults, they offer beer and wine included in the price (don't tell mom and dad initially)! The selection from American basics to Asian delicacies is impressive. Add to that the reasonable pricing (under $20 for adults during lunch on the weekdays) and that's a recipe for success. If you're traveling West, it's the perfect place to stop before the long ride home.
Wicked Spoon - Cosmopolitan Hotel
Kid sized portions for adults. Everything here is served "tapas" style which means: small portions. Ideal for tasting and the kids can try different things while minimizing waste. Selection is plentiful with mostly American and Italian favorites. It's a bit of a walk from the hotel lobby, but maybe by the time you arrive the kids (and possibly adults) will be too tired to run around and just stay seated. The gelato bar is unique and fried chicken in a basket is original. Definitely try both. It's mid-priced (under $25 for adults during lunch on the weekdays) and the buffet that locals take visitors when they want to impress them. Kids of all ages will be satisfied with what Wicked Spoon has to offer. If not, maybe they're just not hungry.
Bayside Buffet - Mandalay Bay
Mandalay has to be the most kid-friendly hotel on the Las Vegas Strip because of the Beach. After planning your day around sunbathing and body surfing, the last thing you'll feel like doing is traveling in your car or by foot to find some place to eat. That being said, Bayside Buffet caters to kids' appetites with their simple menu and family- style seating. There's probably about a 3-to-1, adult-to-kid ratio here so your little ones will feel right at home. The number of booths available is a nice feature since meal time can last long. Bayside buffet is pretty spread out so it tends not to get backed up even when it's busy. Overall the food is slightly above average, but the convenience and comfort of knowing your kids are safe is worth the price of admission. When the kids are happy, mom and dad are happy.
