Bellagio Las Vegas

The Bellagio in Las Vegas is the property we visit the most, whether we are staying there or somewhere else, while we are in Las Vegas. This property has been part of many wonderful Las Vegas trips since we started visiting Las Vegas as a couple in 1999.

The Bellagio opened in October of 1998, and our first visit was in the summer of 1999 when we were still just dating. We were both impressed at the attention to detail and simply how beautiful the hotel was. Even though so much has changed at the Bellagio, it is still a remarkable hotel that sits perfectly on the Las Vegas Strip.

There are some must sees at the Bellagio. First are the amazing fountains that dance in the 8 acre lake at the front of the property. Every 30 minutes starting in the afternoon and every 15 minutes starting after 8:00pm, you'll be entertained by a free show of dancing fountains choreographed to music.

Inside the Bellagio, you will find a botanical garden that changes with the seasons in a huge conservatory located right off the lobby. We stop to see the gardens every time we are in Las Vegas. Additionally, the glass flowers overhead in the lobby are simply amazing.

We've stayed at the Bellagio on six different trips, two of which were for business conventions. Their rooms are always clean and modern and they have some of the best restaurants we've tried in Las Vegas. Picasso's and Olives are two that we really enjoy.

It can be expensive, however they do offer reasonable rates during the week days and non-busy weekends. Make sure to sign up for the Mlife program so you can be alerted to discounts and savings.

As far the casino goes, they have the best cocktails and the best cocktail waitresses in our opinion. If you like Cosmos or Screwdrivers, then we highly recommend those and the service has never been slow! They have all the traditional games and some of the newer slots that we really enjoy.

If you have been thinking about staying at the Bellagio, there is nothing we would discourage you from deciding too. Check out there room rates for your upcoming trip and if it works into your budget, then make your reservations!
