Up, up and away! This is one of our favorite attractions in Las Vegas. The High Roller Observation Wheel is a one of a kind experience and a wonderful way to see Las Vegas anytime, day or night.

The High Roller opened for operation on March 31, 2014 and is located on the Las Vegas Strip. At it's highest point, you will be 550 feet about Las Vegas and it is a wonderful 360* view of the city. Currently, it is the worlds tallest Ferris wheel!

We are not thrill seekers, but you don't have to be to enjoy the High Roller. Even if you are afraid of heights, don't let that deter you either. The pods that you ride in are very stable and they are enclosed. You feel safe the entire time!

We've riden the High Roller 3 different times over the years. Once during the day, once during sunset and once during the night. Each time it is a wonderful experience and very unique. During the day you can see a lot more details of the city and the entire valley of Las Vegas. The sunset ride is very impressive too with great views of the city and picture taking opportunities. At night, you get to see the city in all it's neon glory, which is fun to do! However, nighttime is the worst time for pictures, so keep that in mind.

It takes about 30 minutes to ride the complete circle and they even have some of the pods with an all you can drink open bar. You can purchase tickets in advance from their website or directly from the box office located at the base of the wheel. It is located on the Las Vegas Strip near the LINQ Hotel & Casino. If you are taking a taxi, they have a separate drop-off location and everything is ADA compliant.

This is a great attraction for the entire family and kids under 12 ride for free. At the end of the ride you go through the gift shop and are able to purchase professional photos if you choose. When we get asked about where the best views are of Las Vegas, the High Roller is certainly the best way to see it all!
