For your next Vegas trip during the Spring, Summer or early Fall, check to see if the Las Vegas 51s Baseball Team are in town for a home game. From our recent experience, you'll enjoy your time at their ballpark taking in a game.

Both of us enjoy baseball and we've been to a lot of major and minor league baseball parks over the years, so the Las Vegas 51s had been on our list for a while. So we are able to tell you from this visit that the Las Vegas 51s was among our favorite.

The Las Vegas 51s are the AAA affiliate to the NY Mets. If you don't know what that means, it basically means the players on the field are one phone call away from being sent to the major leagues. So they play hard and you'll see some professional level baseball being played.

They play at Cashman Field which is a stadium that holds a little more than 9,000 fans. We went on a Saturday night and the stadium was about 2/3 full. There is not a bad seat in the house, so any ticket is a good ticket. They offer all the normal ballpark favorites such as burgers, hotdog, beer and snacks, but one thing they offered, which we thought was great, was an enclosed club level area that anyone can get into with a ticket. You can hang out up there to cool off, grab a bite to eat then head back to your seats.

Getting to Cashman Field was a lot easier than we thought. It is just a few miles north of downtown Las Vegas. From the Strip, it was a 15 minute Uber ride for us, but if you are staying downtown, it would only be 5 minutes. There is plenty of parking and easy to get an Uber pickup if you need.

The ticket prices are very affordable as well as all the concessions once you get in the stadium. They've kept the stadium in very nice condition so it is comfortable and safe. So don't hesitate to see if they have an upcoming home game because we had a blast and think you will too!
