The SW Steakhouse at the Wynn Hotel is a wonderful restaurant that we've have the opportunity to eat at twice. The first time was for a family birthday celebration, the other was for our 15 year anniversary. Do you see a theme? Yes, SW is the restaurant for us in Las Vegas when there is a special occasion to celebrate.

 

They do not disappoint.

 

First, if you are on a budget or has reservations about spending money on dinner, then this place is not for you. A good measure is $100 - $150 per person to really enjoy this wonderful restaurant.

If you like seafood, start with their chilled seafood tower. This is perfect for a party of 2 - 4 people complete with shrimp, crab, oysters and lobster. This was our favorite part of our dinner both times.

Order your favorite cocktail and they will make it to perfection. We like martinis and they have some of the best (with blue cheese stuffed olives).

Both times we ordered steaks as this was their main recommendation and both times they have been wonderful. They offer a la carte sides which you cannot go wrong with, plus an amazing selection of desserts.

 

While the food was excellent, the other main reasons to visit SW is the atmosphere and the staff. They offer both an indoor and outdoor seating area. The outdoor seating is overlooking a beautiful waterscape and waterfall. As you would expect, the service was top notch and the waiters were as professional and respectful as the Wynn name has become synonymous with.

So if you have a special occasion or celebration in Las Vegas, then make arrangements to spend that time at SW Steakhouse inside the Wynn Las Vegas.
