Looking for a way to stay cool in the hot desert days of Las Vegas? We were and Wet n Wild Las Vegas was the perfect solution. So grab your bathing suit and your sunblock and plan a fun day at Wet n Wild.

The water park is about a 20 minute drive from the Las Vegas Strip. So getting there does require some planning. We decided to us Uber and the rates were about $20 each way, which was very reasonable we felt. A cab would be about $50 each way, so renting a car was the only other option.

Wet n Wild is located in a very nice section of Las Vegas. There was a lot of new construction going on around the park and the neighborhood was very modern. There is plenty of parking and overflow parking as well. The park opened at 10:00am, but we did get in a little early as they were having a promotion that day.

Ticket prices range depending on a few things, so budget on about $25-$40 for entry. You can check their website for pricing during the day and time you plan to arrive. We did notice that they offer evening discounted pricing, so check that out if you are looking to save on tickets.

Since we were early, we got through most of the rides without lines for the first hour! That was great. We counted about 10 major rides, 2 of which four people could ride together. There were 6 other two person rides and the other 2 were large slides. We rode each one about twice.

The rides are fun and modern. All were very safe, yet several had a very high 'thrill' factor, so they are not for the faint of heart. The crowd started to build around 11:00am and steadily increased through the time we left around 1:00pm. The shortest wait we had was 2 minutes and the longest line was 15 minutes.

The four person rides are the most fun because of the interaction of the group on the raft. The scariest ride was Constrictor, which you ride in the complete dark. They have a huge slide called Desert Racers in which 6 people can race down the slide at one time.

The park does an amazing job of helping keep you cool. They have done a very nice job providing shade for the majority of lines you stand in and they even provide a free sunblock station at the entrace.

The park is complete with a nice sized wave pool, a huge kid area with small slides and water activities, plus they have a lazy river. So regardless of the age of the people in your group, there is something for everyone. We had a lot of fun!
