Culinary Dropout
Matt and I were invited to visit Culinary Dropout, overlooking the pool at the Hard Rock Hotel and here is what we know!
Would we visit again?
Definitely! Culinary Dropout has a very cool atmosphere and a very interesting menu. It's the sort of place where you can visit multiple times and have a different dining experience each time.
What did we like best?
Brandy says: Sit outside in the cool comfy chairs!
Matt says: Order their signature cocktails, they are one of a kind.
What you wouldn’t know, unless we told you:
The minute you walk in you get the cool unique vibe of the place! We chose to sit outside on a perfect Las Vegas day. The high back upholstered chairs, the wall of mirrors on the hedges or the benches next to the pool all give the perfect atmosphere to grab a bite and a drink.
Every staff member we met would have been welcomed to sit at our table and enjoy the day with us. They were each friendly, interactive and knowledgeable of their restaurant. They loved what they did and what they served.
Their food and drinks were amazing! You have to start with the soft pretzels and provolone fondue. Matt and I love charcuterie boards and antipasti platters, and they have a large list of options to choose from for your board. They brought Matt a tasting of some of their beers on draft, while I stuck with a glass of wine.
Even though we were getting full, we had to try some of their main dishes they recommended. They all recommended their Korean Style Ribeye Cap, and rightfully so! The Kale and sweet corn salad was a perfect salad for the end of summer lunch. We split the Bourbon Black Bottom Pie and each had one of their specialty bar drinks. The perfect ending to a great lunch! We couldn’t even think about eating dinner we ate so much at lunch!
Culinary Dropout is worth the visit!
