Sushi Roku Las Vegas

We love sushi! So Matt and I decided to go try Sushi Roku located in The Forum Shops at Caesars on the second floor and here is what we know!

Would we visit again?

Of course! Our weakness is a delicious sushi restaurant, plus there was so much else on the menu that we wanted to try. One visit is not enough.

What did we like best?

Brandy says: Go outside your box and try new things like the Tuna sashimi!

Matt says: The Chilean Seabass with Miso Truffle sauce brought a tear to my eye!

What you wouldn’t know, unless we told you:

When you walk in, you instantly forget you are in a shopping mall. Ask for a table next to the huge floor to ceiling windows facing the Las Vegas Strip. We visited at lunch, but hear once the sun goes down, the view of the Las Vegas Strip at night, make it extra special. We chose to sit at the large cushioned benches, looking out towards the window where the sun was shining. A perfect afternoon.

We walked in hungry and can both eat our weight in sushi, so no judging how much we ate!! Our meal was so delicious I have to list everything we tried. There wasn’t one thing we tried, we wouldn’t reorder again!

We had:

Tuna sashimi with sesame mustard dressing, avocado, heirloom tomato (I don’t like raw sushi, but had to fight Matt for my half. It was delish!)

Rib Eye wrapped asparagus with soy mirin sauce (I need to try this at home!)

Lobster Tempura with miso glaze (this was supposed to be my dish, since it was cooked, but Matt fought hard for his share).

Chilean Seabass with Miso Truffle sauce and sautéed spinach (a perfect main dish to try)

Spicy Panko shrimp roll with spicy tuna and Serrano chili on top

Baked Crab Roll

Titan Roll: spicy scallop, jalapeno and salmon topped with sesame miso sauce

Needless to say, we of course didn't eat dinner! The staff paired our food with a perfect glass of chardonnay for me and a specialty beer for Matt. I wanted to go back each day it was so good, but we decided to keep trying new places!

Sushi Roku is a must try!
