LAS VEGAS MONORAIL MAKES TRAVEL-PLANNING A CINCH  WITH NEW WEBSITE

LAS VEGAS (September 2016) – The Las Vegas Monorail is already one of the most convenient amenities in Las Vegas and its new website aims to make planning visits to the destination even more hassle-free. Launched this summer, the new site includes not only colorful, easy-to-read graphics, as seen on its new route map, but also a complete Station Guide with helpful travel-planning information. The LVMonorail.com Station Guide was designed to help visitors map out their itineraries, whether they seek dining, shopping, hotel amenities, convention information, nightlife or other entertainment at each of the 10 resorts—plus the Las Vegas Convention Center—which are all directly served along the Monorail route. While using the Station Guide enables Monorail passengers to create jam-packed itineraries to make the most of their Las Vegas visit, the website’s blog offers yet more tips and information. On it, you can find everything from where to charge mobile phones at Monorail stations, to how to use the system to get to the MGM Grand Garden Arena, to special hours and offers for attendees of citywide events. There are even blog posts introducing readers to the Monorail’s very own K-9 officer, Rony, and offering tips for catching Pokémon while riding the Monorail. Other helpful sections include:

  • Directions to the Monorail – Simple guide for how to navigate to each of the Monorail’s seven stations within its associated properties.

  • Free Las Vegas Shuttles – For guests staying off the Strip, learn which hotels offer free shuttles to Monorail stations or to drop-off points within a 10-15-minute walk of them.

  • Environmental Efficiency – For instance, the Monorail is the only transportation option in Las Vegas that operates on zero-emissions trains.

  • Did You Know? - Fun facts about the Monorail, such as…did you know the Monorail has removed more than 23 million vehicle miles from area roadways—the equivalent of 48 trips to the moon?

…and more. Of course, the ability to purchase multi-day, unlimited ride Monorail tickets—the best transportation deal in town—is now easier than ever on LVMonorail.com. Prices start at $5 for a single ride, with unlimited-ride passes starting at $12 for one day, with various multi-day options offered up to seven days for $56.
