Las Vegas Super Bowl Party 2017 at Hard Rock Cafe
Regardless of what's going on in Las Vegas, it is always fun to plan a trip to Sin City! However, our trip in February 2017 was as unique as ever! We had booked a 2 night, 48-hour trip specifically for the 2017 Super Bowl which featured a match up of the Atlanta Falcons and the New England Patriots.
Brandy and I lived in Atlanta for 8 years and we were so excited that our Atlanta Falcons had made it all the way to this year's Super Bowl. We love Matt Ryan and watching him try for his first Super Bowl ring was going to be exciting. Since we knew we wanted our first Super Bowl experience in Las Vegas to be special, we started looking around for the best Super Bowl party on the Las Vegas Strip.
Our research quickly showed that the Hard Rock Cafe was going to be the perfect venue for cheering on our Atlanta Falcons. They are located right on the Las Vegas Strip adjacent to the MGM Grand. They have a huge three story facility that was so impressive! We've been to a lot of Hard Rock Cafes around the country and their location in Las Vegas is our favorite indeed.
If you love Rock n Roll, then you've got to stop by and see all the memorabilia. Bob Dylan, Jimi Hendrix, The Beatles, The Grateful Dead and much more. Click Here to see some of the awesome relics they have from these bands and more! It is so much fun to explore all the history and memorabilia of your favorite musicians and artist.
One thing that drew us to the Hard Rock Cafe for the Super Bowl party was they offered an all you can eat buffet AND all you can drink of a premium open bar. They were the only venue we found that offered that! Kick off for the Super Bowl was at 3:00pm, so we arrived at the hard Rock Cafe around 2:00pm to make sure we didn't miss any of the action. The place was very busy, but they did an amazing job of moving people through the check-in process and before we knew it, we were in our seats on the third floor.
We only had a small breakfast that morning since we knew they were going to have some great food ready for us. And we were right. They had the best sliders, amazing pizza and some of the best Buffalo wings I had ever had in Las Vegas. Their food was simply amazing! Our table enjoyed our fair share of all their wonderful dishes. Yum!
One thing that really impressed us were the servers. They anticipated what we needed and we never waited for a drink or an empty plate to be removed from our table. Great service is always appreciated and the Hard Rock Cafe has an amazing staff. The hostess station all the way to the general manager made sure all the guest were having a great time.
There were TV's everywhere! It was awesome. The crowd was about 50% Patriot fans and 50% Falcon fans, so we had fun cheering along with our fellow Falcon fans. As you know, the first half of the game it looked like the Falcons were going to run away with the game, so at halftime we were on cloud nine. We had even made a $100 bet that the Falcons were going to win the game, so we were already spending that money in our minds! Then the second half got us worried. Then overtime. Then defeat. Rats! Even though our Falcons lost, the wonderful time we had a the Hard Rock Cafe made the evening very special.
The next time you're looking for an amazing venue, with amazing food and an amazing staff, consider the Hard Rock Cafe right on the Las Vegas Strip (did we mention we thought it was amazing?). They even offer and host private events, so let them know if you want them to host your next party in Las Vegas.
Make it a point to stop by and check out the Hard Rock Cafe on your next visit to Las Vegas. You will not be disappointed and we cannot wait to get back! Click Here to visit their website to see all the events they have planned!
