Cosmopolitan Las Vegas Boulevard Pool Review

When you think of the Cosmopolitan Las Vegas, you probably think chic, sexy, upscale and luxurious. Well... you are right. We've stayed at the Cosmopolitan on several occasions and even voted their property Best Hotel on the Las Vegas Strip of 2016. So when we set out to review pools around Las Vegas, we knew adding the Boulevard Pool at the Cosmopolitan was a must do.

The Cosmopolitan has three pools on their property. All have a different theme and all very upscale and extremely nice. We chose to review the Boulevard Pool on this trip because it is so unique. As the name suggests, the pool overlooks Las Vegas Boulevard (The Strip) and this pool is right in the middle of all the action. It is very easy to get to from the hotel and is located off the fourth floor from the elevators.

The first thing we noticed was the sheer size of the Boulevard Pool. There is a lot of shaded areas with furniture to lounge in, TVs to watch the games and plenty of water to stay cool. One noteworthy benefit of this pool is that it doesn't get shaded from the hotel tower until late in the afternoon. Some hotel's pools get block from the sun simply because their hotels cast a huge shadow until after lunch. Not the case here at the Boulevard Pool.

We checked in to our cabana and were quickly assisted by our server and cabana host. Their menu of cocktails is so much fun! We went with a Pina Colada (of course) and some champagne which included a frozen Popsicle. How awesome is that! They treated us to a small fruit plate with was very refreshing too. The cabana had plenty of room and very comfortable furniture. On a hot summer Vegas afternoon, we highly recommend renting a cabana. It offers a place to cool down and relax with family and friends.

The vibe is very hip and the crowd is relatively young. If you're looking to mingle and make new friends, then the Boulevard Pool is perfect for you. Nobody seemed to be a stranger. As you can see in the pictures and video below, they have very cool loungers that allow you to be half submerged in the pool. These are first come, first serve and even though it was crowded, there was always a few available that you could move around.

Their staff was very busy, yet we never had to wait on anything. The pricing for the drinks and the food was relatively reasonable in Vegas standards. Five cocktails plus tip as about $100 and well worth it.

It was so surreal to be lounging in the pool, with the Las Vegas Strip as your view while enjoying Champagne and a Popsicle. Something everyone should try at some point in their Vegas travels. So needless to say, we highly recommend the Boulevard Pool at the Cosmopolitan Las Vegas. So pack your designer swimsuit and dip your toe in the beautiful waters and you'll be thanking us later!
