Golden Nugget Las Vegas Pool Review

When it comes to properties in Downtown Las Vegas, the Golden Nugget is second to none. Our first visit to the Golden Nugget was in 2013 and we immediately fell in love with everything they offer. So when we started to put together our Vegas Pool Campaign, we knew it would be drastically incomplete without adding the Golden Nugget. Their pool (also known as The Tank) is an adventure within itself and your trip would be incomplete without some time at the pool.

The Golden Nugget's pool is a three level tropical paradise right in the heart of Downtown Las Vegas. The first thing you notice when you enter is the HUGE aquarium complete with dozens of gigantic fish and a shark! You can swim right up to the aquarium and get nose to nose with the fishes. The next attraction you'll notice is a three story waterside that weaves around the pool AND through the fish tank!! Something you must add to your Vegas Bucket List.

We were fortunate to get a huge cabana which was perfect for a hot Vegas summer day. It was complete with a TV, refrigerator and very comfy furniture. We ordered a few cocktails and explored the beautiful pool area (make sure to check out the video tour below). Brandy even found time for a nap on the huge daybed attached to our cabana.

The pool area is big, but to make sure you get a chair you'll want to get to the pool early. It fills up fast, but you'll be very comfortable as you soak up the sun. Also, upstairs on the third level is an adult only pool called the Hideout. If you're looking for a more mature vibe, then this spot is for you. You can rent daybeds and cabanas there and enjoy some peace and quite.

In our opinion, the Golden Nugget's pool is the best in Downtown Las Vegas. They have so much to offer, even table games in the shade! It's perfect for kids, families, singles, and people of all ages.
